All the descriptions and explanations provided in this manual have been checked with the
greatest care. The operating instructions section includes references to many actual situations that can occur when the system is used, not only to explain the system, but also to highlight the risks it may pose for users and patients.
This document is an integral part of the system and all the information and requirements detailed herein are binding for operating it. This in particular also applies to information and advice concerning risk situations and the liability for damages and consequential damages.
We would like to expressly draw your attention to all safety hazards that are not explicitly mentioned here and posed by the respective spatial or apparatus-related use situation, and which only the operator can and must be aware of in situ and in that situation.
If any descriptions should be unclear or incomprehensible, or if any of the terms used should not be clear and unambiguous, GfM needs to be informed of this immediately with a request for clarification. As long as potential users of the system have not unambiguously and correctly understood the application descriptions, and not reliably practiced and mastered the handling of the system, they must not use the system because it could pose risks to life and limb otherwise.
Risks can only be excluded or at least minimized if the system is attentively maintained and used as intended while applying all safety precautions. We therefore expressly draw your attention to the necessity of regularly checking the system systematically, based on the specified maintenance schedule. The system must not be used and GfM will not accept any liability if maintenance activities and inspection activities have not been properly applied and documented, or if parts of the system have been modified. We therefore urgently advise users to enter into a maintenance contract with GfM.
